NATRC invites you to join our Virtual Obstacle Challenge

Welcome to our NATRC Holiday Hoedown Challenge! This is a virtual challenge that you and your equine partner will do once a month at your own location, record a video and upload to our brand new challenge website. Open to ALL membership levels. Be sure to renew your membership today.

There will be 3 challenges. One video submitted per "month.” There will be a different NATRC judge judging each challenge month.

• Challenge 1 will be 11/21 - 12/06
• Challenge 2 will be 12/19 - 1/03
• Challenge 3 will be 1/16 - 2/03

$45 per entry (includes all three monthly challenges). Awards will be given to top scores in each bracket.

Enjoy our NEW, USER FRIENDLY submission platform provided by Submit.com. Create your entry, pay and submit all your videos in one place and direct from your phone, tablet and/or PC. (You will no longer have to upload to YouTube and then send in links.) We had a lot of great feedback from our first virtual challenge over the spring/summer. We heard you! And we hope you’ll find this new challenge and website to be simpler and easier.

Register here. Once logged in, start an application for the obstacle challenge for each equine you want to enter. Save as a DRAFT and use it throughout the entire challenge. At the end of the challenge, you will submit/click finish. Don't worry, we are able to judge the videos as you upload them! Faster scoring for you!

For each challenge you must submit your video using your Submit.com account on or before each closing date. New challenge details will be announced on or before each challenges opening date.

   Get ready to sliiiiiddddddeeee! The Electric Slide is our third and final NATRC Holiday Hoedown Challenge. We saved the best for last. See the demo. The Slide starts today and runs until 2/03/2021. Again, music and costumes are totally optional but if they help you get into the groove, they are definitely encouraged! Have fun and show off your skills!

   And it’s time for our next Holiday Hoedown Challenge: the Conga! See the demo. The Conga starts today and runs until 1/03/2021. Again, music optional. Mainly we want to see you have fun with your horse and show off your skills. Conga!

   Do the Hokie Pokie with your horse. Here’s a demo from Horsemanship judge Esther Diaguila to give you some inspiration. Singing/Hokie Pokie music and costume are strictly optional! Put your own spin on it—be creative and above all, have fun!
